There are other utilities, like the Odyssey client, but Juniper Networks has informed me they will not be doing anything Vista until SP1 comes out as they feel Vista is far to buggy to bother. As a developer, I disagree, but that's not the point, I just want someone from Dell to tell me whether their WLAN utility is in the works for Vista users on existing laptops.
Have you tried the utility in compatibility mode for XPSP2? Yeah, but nothing works--Vista just hates it. I did get the WLAN app to open, but it didn't work. The program just froze up and I had to end the process. The drivers that install with the WLAN app did actually work, however they are not needed since the boradcom drivers that come with Vista work fine. Emccraw, did you happen to try anything? You have to apply the Compatibility mode "before" you install the utility.
