Isn't there any local reseller of SQL Server? Since your business seems critical to me, check if you have local reseller of product. If I had any tricks which I don't , I'd be scared to use them on a production machine. When we were done, even if it got back up and running, I wouldn't have a lot of confidence that you wouldn't run in to version problems down the road.

We purchased through dell and volume licensing day before yesterday. Unless someone can give is a fix we are just watching volume licensing for the product to show up there or the time to run out and the business start to lose tens of thousands of dollars a day if something happens to the server.

The more probably issue is one of the other vendors or individual employees of the client that have direct administrative access to the server. I have never worked for a client that so many people have unrestricted access to such a critical piece of equipment.

I downloaded and installed Windows Server Trial. It expires after 60 days, but is extendable to days all in all by logging into the server and running a command.
